The Irish Currach Club of Milwaukee was founded in 1989 to enhance and foster the nautical heritage of Ireland in the Midwest and to promote the culture of currachs and currach racing in North America.

ICCM is a member of the North American Currach Association, the governing body of American currach clubs and their regattas. Each of the seven NACA clubs (Albany, Annapolis, Boston, Columbus, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh) hosts an annual regatta. Milwaukee’s regatta is held on the Saturday of Milwaukee’s Irish Fest on the festival grounds.

ICCM is a co-ed club and welcomes recreational and competitive members of all ages and abilities. The season runs May through October each year, with practices held at McKinley Marina.
